Brenda G. Rodriguez has been part of the Gibbons & Gibbons team for
a few years. During this time, she has shown that she is very passionate
in ensuring her clients with the best outcome possible in their cases.
Ms. Rodriguez has extensive experience representing clients charged with
both misdemeanors and felonies.
Ms. Rodriguez developed a passion for criminal law at an early age. Her
first job as a teenager was as an assistant at a criminal law firm. She
then graduated from Long Beach State University with a Communication Studies
major and a minor in Criminal Justice, in order to develop her passion
for criminal law.
Ms. Rodriguez then attended Trinity Law School where she earned her Juris
Doctorate degree and was an officer as well as one of the founders of
the Criminal Law Association. Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Rodriguez
became a law clerk at Gibbons & Gibbons. When she became an attorney,
she was hired as an associate with the firm.
During her time as an attorney, Ms. Rodriguez has also become proficient
in representing clients in restraining order cases. She has successfully
represented clients on both the Petitioner side and the Respondent side.
Ms. Rodriguez is fluent in Spanish, which assists the firm in communicating
with Spanish speaking clients at a much deeper level. She is able to thoroughly
communicate with them and answer all their questions and concerns, but
most importantly, she is able to pick up on nuances with in court interpreters
that can be hurtful to a defendant’s case if they are overlooked.
Overall, Ms. Rodriguez contributes to the firm’s dedication and professionalism
